Favorite Part About City: Boston has so many amazing attributes it is hard to nail down just one! My favorite part about the city is certainly its parks system. Throughout the city, you can find beautiful parks and trails that provide amazing access to the outdoors, even in a metropolitan area. Great for running, walking and picnicking!
Favorite Thing to Eat and Drink: The proximity to the water means that you have access to amazing seafood in Boston. There is also a thriving craft beverage scene and a ton of diversity in the city due to its various colleges and universities so you can find authentic cuisine from all over the world. I dream of Island Creek Oysters, Arepas from Orinoco and a Burger at Craigie on Main paired with a local craft beer.
Most Unusual Thing to Try: Beef tongue at Toro. Don’t knock it till you try it!
Where to Spot Wolffer: Les Zygomates is a great wine bar that features Wölffer, and Brix is a great place to pick up a bottle to take home with you. Our No. 139 Ciders can also be found at Whole Foods.
Best Classic Boston x Wolffer Pairing: Noblesse Oblige and oysters or the Perle Chardonnay with a New England Clam Chowder
Favorite Anecdote: My family is from the East End so when I lived in Boston, I always came back on weekends. I would stop at Wolffer to pick up wine to bring back home and enjoy with friends on our front stoop during the summer. Whenever I served Summer In A Bottle, people on the street would stop to chat me up about the wine and beautiful bottle design and often times end up joining our gathering. I made a lot of neighborhood friends thanks to Wölffer Estate!
