Wondering where in the world Roman Roth is? Well, he's currently taking Tokyo by storm! Our winemaker headed overseas to share his passion - and Wölffer wines, ciders, and spirits. We'll be sharing his trip updates here, so be sure to keep checking back.
Day 1: Roman jumped right in, hosting a lively and energetic staff training with the wonderful team at the Park Hyatt Tokyo. The team learned all about our sustainable practices, Roman's winemaking style, and tasted many of our products. They are excited to continue serving them! Later in the evening, Roman hosted a fabulous and indulgent pairing dinner at The Burn Tokyo, a sustainable grill lead by Chef Yonezawa Fumio. Some highlights from the meal included a Black Truffle Hummus with our Cool As Well Sparkling 2013 and "Binchotan" -- a charcoal grilled 90-day dry aged beef -- with our Caya Cabernet Franc 2015.
