The Danube is the most scenically beautiful and longest river in Europe. In the spring of 2026, we will make that happen. I cordially invite you to join us, sailing the Blue Danube aboard the luxurious M/S AmaBella. This inclusive program is in three parts:
1) A 3-night pre-cruise tour of Munich and surrounds, with visits to Oberammergau and Neuschwanstein, the picturesque castle of Mad King Ludwig
2) 7-night river cruise from Vilshofen Bavaria to Budapest Hungary, visiting Passau, Austria’s Salzburg and Wachau Valley, Vienna and Bratislava
3) Finish with an optional 4-night tour of Hungary’s Tokaji wine region and Budapest city
We embark on the Danube from Vilshofen Bavaria, then visiting Passau, Linz, beautiful villages in Austria’s Wachau Valley, Vienna and Budapest. There is a full day trip to Salzburg and its stunning alpine countryside, glorified in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music. Conclude in Budapest, the Hungarian capital that will surprise you with its history, scale, architecture and substance. As an option you can stay two more nights to fully experience Budapest, the Hapsburg summer estate Royal Godollo Palace, and an amazing equestrian show at Lazar Champions Estate.
On board we will hold two private tastings and a paired dinner, pouring our New York wines alongside those of Germany and Austria. There are special inclusions exclusively for those traveling as part of our Wolffer Estate Vineyards Danube Group.
