Sue Calden
Special Events Director

Known for her innate sense of style and elegant taste, Sue Calden brings those talents and much more in planning the varied and busy event schedule at the Estate. Sue has a fashion marketing background and was Creative Director in her own agency in New York City. She demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit as the owner of The Pink House Bed and Breakfast, an upscale Bed and Breakfast in East Hampton and as a restaurateur owning Citron, a French Bistro in Sag Harbor.
While planning lavish weddings and galas for several hundred people and intimate casual terrace lunches, Sue doesn’t overlook even the slightest detail and works closely with clients to make sure the event fulfills their vision. Sue also selects and purchases all gift items for the Tasting Room Boutique.
Sue resides in the village of Sag Harbor, where she enjoys entertaining, cooking, and gardening. She is a native New Yorker and a world traveler. She attended Peter Kumps Cooking School in New York City.
