Peggy Lauber

High energy and enthusiasm are Peggy Lauber’s trademark characteristics.
A veteran of the Long Island wine industry, Peggy co-founded Corey Creek Vineyards in 1993, on the North Fork. While there, she produced award-winning Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Rose, working with renowned local winemakers Dan Kleck and Russell Hearn.
Hailing from the suburbs of Chicago, Peggy now resides in Greenport, New York, and has lived on the North Fork since 1980. She is a fan of North Fork wildlife, whether it is the flora and fauna of the Peconic Land Trust preserves, or the Monday Night Dances series at Mitchell Park during the summer months.
Peggy has served on the Board of Directors of the New York Wine & Grape Foundation and the Long Island Wine Council. She holds a Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wine & Spirits from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust, and a Sommelier Certificate from the Sommelier Society of America.
